4G LTE Performance and Network Compatibility

The OLAX AX6 Pro uses LTE Cat4 technology to achieve download speeds up to 150Mbps when connected to a 4G network. It accepts any standard 2FF size SIM card and works with 4G, 3G, and 2G networks, providing automatic fallback when 4G coverage is unavailable. The device converts the mobile data connection into a 300Mbps WiFi network on the 2.4GHz band using 802.11b/g/n standards.

Up to 32 devices including smartphones, laptops, tablets, and smart home products can connect to the router at the same time. The Gigabit WAN port allows you to use the device as a traditional wired router when a fiber or DSL connection is available.

Battery Life and Portability

The built-in 4000mAh rechargeable battery powers the router for up to 18 hours of continuous use. This makes the AX6 Pro practical for areas with frequent load shedding or as a portable hotspot for travel, outdoor work sites, or temporary event setups. When mains power is available, the router operates while charging. The battery capacity is larger than most portable 4G hotspots, which typically offer 6 to 10 hours between charges. Black and white color options are available to match different interior or equipment aesthetics.

Network Security and Device Management

The rechargeable WiFi router with SIM slot supports WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption to protect your wireless network from unauthorized access. WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) allows quick device pairing by pressing a button rather than typing the password. The router includes a firewall to block malicious traffic, QoS (Quality of Service) settings to prioritize bandwidth for specific devices or applications, and VPN support for secure remote access. The SMS feature lets you send text messages through the router’s web interface, and VoIP functionality enables voice calls over the data connection.

Who Should Buy the OLAX AX6 Pro Router

Households in areas with frequent power cuts will benefit from the 18-hour battery backup, which keeps internet access available during load shedding. The device is also practical for users who do not have fixed broadband access and rely on mobile data plans, as it converts a single SIM card into WiFi for the entire home.

Small business owners, field technicians, or event organizers who need temporary internet at multiple locations can use the portable 4G CPE router as a mobile hotspot. Families with many connected devices will appreciate the 32-user capacity, which accommodates smartphones, laptops, smart TVs, and IoT devices on one network.

Things to Check Before You Buy

The OLAX AX6 Pro operates only on the 2.4GHz WiFi band. If you need 5GHz WiFi for less interference or faster speeds on newer devices, this model does not support dual-band operation. Check that your SIM card is the standard 2FF size; micro SIM or nano SIM cards will require an adapter.

The 150Mbps LTE Cat4 speed is the maximum under ideal conditions; actual performance depends on your mobile operator’s network coverage and congestion in your area. The device does not function as a traditional modem for a separate router, as it is designed as an all-in-one CPE unit. Online after-sales support is available for quality issues, including remote diagnostics if needed.
